The
Gift of Dyslexia
-
Dyslexia is caused
by a natural perceptual ability. This is at the root of the many talents
that dyslexics often display, as well as their learning difficulties.
-
Dyslexics predominantly use a non-verbal thinking style
(picture thinking rather than word thinking).
-
Dyslexics are highly intuitive and insightful. They have vivid
imaginations, and can think and perceive multi-dimensionally (using all
the senses).
-
This perceptual
style has helped many dyslexics become successful in a wide variety of
endeavors and careers (see famous dyslexics).
