The
Davis Dyslexia Correction® Program is a one-to-one program during which
the individual learns to:
-
Stabilize
perception in order to perceive the environment accurately.
-
Eliminate
negative emotions, control energy level and focus at will.
-
Master basic
symbols (letters, words, punctuation, math symbols) so that they are
perceived accurately and understood completely (using clay).
-
Perceive
all symbols in sequence and read with accurate comprehension.
-
Create with
clay a 3-D pictorial representation of 217 Trigger Words – words
whose meanings are not easily pictured yet make up the majority of
words in all written text (such as the, a, it, to) to
eliminate confusion and promote recognition.
-
Mastery of
symbols and concepts related to math, handwriting and /or ADD
correction.

The Davis Dyslexia
Correction® Program offers:
- The
positive perspective that there is nothing wrong with the individual.
Rather it is the talent of multi-dimensional perception or “picture
style thinking” that has led to their strengths as well as to their
difficulties and that this talent can be controlled and the learning
difficulties corrected.
-
Control of their own destiny as they are shown how they can correct
the problem themselves.
- A
lifelong approach to learning in any subject that suits the learning
style of the Dyslexic mind.
The
Davis Dyslexia Correction®
Program is suitable for all age groups including children (age 8 and
up), adolescents and adults. Programs are tailored to meet the needs of
the individual client.
The client must be willing and
motivated to pursue the program for him/herself.
